I love it when my friends quit their jobs and go off on their own. When Leah's blog fans turned into clients, she became too busy to design for someone else, so she decided to take the plunge. I luckily get free advice on my apartment, but she charges hourly and her rates are still fairly low. My sister hired her to help organize their one bedroom apartment for the arriving baby. And our cousins hired her to do their new apartment. I'm impressed by her ability to take a space with some existing furniture and spice it up with some new elements and small details.
